Our Training Concept at Project 2030 Tennis Academy

Our training concept at Project 2030 Tennis Academy is designed to individually and holistically support each player, aiming to achieve both athletic and personal excellence. The following aspects characterize our unique concept:

Individual Training & Technical Development

​

  • Daily Private Training: Each player receives 2-3 hours of intensive individual training daily, focusing on the personal technical and tactical development. The individual training plan is regularly adjusted to maximize progress.

  • Technical Training: A crucial part of our program is the extensive daily technical training. This focuses on stroke techniques, movement patterns, and precision. Technical education is the cornerstone for long-term success in tennis.

  • Group Training: In addition to private training, we offer daily group training (at least 1.5 hours), where the social aspect and teamwork are emphasized. Despite the more relaxed atmosphere, training is still conducted at a high-performance level.

  • Physical Fitness: Daily fitness, stretching, yoga, meditation, and active motor skills training are a standard part of our routine, alongside pure tennis training.

Holistic Development & Support

​

  • Collaboration Across Departments: All areas of the academy – from training to school and personal support – work seamlessly together. There are weekly meetings between the training and academic teams to ensure that academic and athletic performances go hand in hand. Players who do not meet their academic requirements risk exclusion from training.

  • Holistic Coaching: Our approach ensures that each player receives individual 1-on-1 coaching. Thanks to our exclusive, small group size, every player has access to extensive resources. This includes not only tennis training but also nutrition, physiotherapy, and sports psychological support.

Nutrition & Physiology

​

  • Nutritional Monitoring: Each player's diet is monitored, optimized, and regularly adjusted by our team. In addition to practical implementation, we also provide theoretical knowledge about healthy eating. Hydration is also closely monitored.

  • Health Supervision: Regular medical check-ups, physiotherapy assessments, and preventive measures are integral parts of our program. They help keep players healthy and performing at their best over the long term.

Mental Training

​

  • Mental Department: Mental strength is a central component of our program. Regular meditation sessions, as well as theoretical and practical exercises with our mental department, foster mental resilience and self-reflection. These units are integrated into each player's individual program to optimally prepare them for competitive challenges.

Structured Training Cycle & Goal Setting

​

  • 8-Week Cycles: Our program is based on clearly structured 8-week cycles, which are adjusted according to the player’s performance level and learning ability. Within these cycles, we set measurable goals, regularly assess progress, and define new milestones.

  • Measurable Success: Success is measured not only by athletic performance but also in coordination with the coaching team, the family, and the environment. This provides transparency and gives all involved clear points of reference.

Pedagogical Approach & Long-Term Development

  • Individuality & Empathy: We place great importance on a compassionate and dynamic interaction. Our approach is based on supporting children to recognize and develop their potential without putting them under undue pressure. At the same time, we demand discipline, ambition, and personal responsibility.

  • Personal Development: Another unique feature of our academy is the targeted focus on personality development. Our coaches emphasize recognizing and correcting negative behavioral patterns while also acting as mentors. Players learn to identify their strengths and handle pressure situations confidently.

Our goal is not to force maximum athletic success in the shortest time possible but to have a lasting impact on the players. We accompany them on their journey, helping them realize which steps are necessary to achieve their goals. Our focus is on promoting the harmony of body, mind, and spirit, providing players with the best foundation to pursue their dream of becoming a professional tennis player.

Through our comprehensive training and support concept, the decades of experience of our coaches, and the close collaboration with each player and their family, we have produced numerous top players and ATP professionals over the last 25 years. Our academy relies on patience, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the individual needs of each player.
