Our path

Why Did We Found the Project 2030 Academy?

We are tennis parents, and over the years, we’ve been through various tennis academies and carefully observed the international elite level. Our child’s dream of becoming the world’s number one led us to immerse ourselves in the sport. From the beginning, we knew that achieving this dream would be incredibly challenging. But one thing was always clear: We never say it's impossible.

Our approach is simple: if you have a goal, fight for it. Nothing is out of reach as long as you believe in it and commit to it fully. This principle has driven us to grow as tennis parents and delve deeply into the sport.

The Challenges in the Tennis World

We quickly realized that, just like in many other industries, there’s a shortage of skilled professionals in tennis, and separating the wheat from the chaff is difficult. We encountered many coaches with varying motivations, but often without the vision or passion to truly nurture players. These experiences led us to take action and learn how we could best support our child. In this process, we made many mistakes but also underwent a steep learning curve.

One of the most important lessons was understanding that regional success doesn’t equate to international performance. To truly understand where we stood, we needed a realistic assessment of what it would take to optimally support our child.

Structure and Balance – The Key to Success

One of the biggest challenges we faced in recent years was the overwhelming need for a structured and perfectly coordinated daily routine. A tennis player aiming for the highest level requires not only passion and drive but also a carefully thought-out plan that includes the following:

  • Rest and recovery: Adequate sleep and recovery periods are just as important as training.

  • Nutrition: The right diet plays a central role in maximizing performance during training and tournaments.

  • Training and technique coaching: High-quality tennis training tailored to the player’s individual development.

  • Fitness and physiotherapy: The body must be not only strong but also flexible and resilient. Regular physiotherapy is essential.

  • School and academic performance: Academic success must be maintained even during tournament travel.

  • Social contacts and leisure: Friendships, fun, and relaxation are vital for maintaining mental strength.

  • Tournaments and travel: Planning and organizing tournaments requires flexibility and close coordination with both training and academic schedules.

Each player is an individual with unique needs, and these must be considered in a holistic development approach. Particularly with boys and girls who go through different developmental stages, it’s important to understand these differences and provide tailored support. Moreover, it’s crucial to remember that families must transform their lives entirely to meet the demands of this challenging task. A structured daily routine that balances all these aspects requires discipline and dedication – not just from the player but also from parents and coaches.

The Role of Community

Another challenge we faced was the lack of opportunity to connect with like-minded people who share the same goals and understand the challenges of a tennis lifestyle. It is crucial to build a community where both players and parents can support one another and learn together. This is a key reason why we founded the Project 2030 Academy.

Our vision is to create an environment where players, coaches, and families work together on their goals, support one another, and grow together in a small, close-knit group of players at a comparable tennis level.

The Path is Tough

After four years of intense optimization, we realized that no existing institution met our high standards. Most academies are profit-driven, whereas our focus is on the holistic development of the players. For us, it was essential to strike a balance between school, training, social interactions, and overall well-being.

The Project 2030 Academy aims to fill this gap. Our goal is to create an environment that not only promotes athletic excellence but also ensures the academic and personal development of the players.

A New Standard of Perfection

The Project 2030 Academy is designed to set new standards. Our focus is not on quantity but on quality. We offer intensive, individualized attention through a tailor-made 1-on-1 coaching and monitoring system.

Over the years, we’ve seen many players burn out in large academies. We believe that each child should be treated as an individual and that there is no one-size-fits-all path to development. Our goal is to teach young people that it’s good to have a goal and work hard to achieve it. If they don’t become professional tennis players in the end, that’s okay. Our educational approach is more focused on teaching what is necessary to achieve top performance – both on and off the court.

Our Approach

The Project 2030 Academy provides young tennis players with a supportive and harmonious environment. We focus not only on athletic success but also on the holistic development of our athletes. Here, they can find like-minded individuals with whom they can grow and pursue their dreams.

In a world where many only talk, we let actions speak. We see ourselves as a facility that addresses all the necessary aspects to provide our players with the best conditions – always with passion and dedication.

Summary: Why the Project 2030 Academy?

  • Structured daily routine: A carefully planned day that balances all aspects of life and training.

  • Holistic approach: Balanced promotion of athletic, academic, and personal development.

  • Individualized support: Intensive 1-on-1 coaching tailored to the unique needs of each player.
